Is a $200 elec vee worth buying???

Been putting this offer forever and just now looking at a toy to play with behind our cabin cruiser.

Looks like new on e-bay I can get 24", elec, brushless, 30 mph.

    So, questions:

How quickly will 30 be boring?

Guessing 24" is way too small for real world??

Anyone have anything used in that price range?

Waited so long cuz I don't have much of a budget for what will be a toy for me.

Would look at cats too but due to rough conditions where I'm at, I think I'd need bigger than in budget.

    Any advice/education would be appreciated.

    Thx guys.

    Gary

Checkmate project is still a go. Was at the factory last week.

Still waiting on new shop to be built. Site prep is under way.
Trying to make time to do more than I'm able but struggling w/saying enough is enough.

Puppy is healing but slowly. Bandage changes down to twice a wk but vet is an hr away.
    Ugh.
BTW, he has mastered the stairs on 3 legs while #4 heals.

    Havent even done taxes yet.
Hence, typing on S/F at 3:55 A.M. before starting them.

    How was Daytona?

Did two days in Lauderdale with the police mobile command center parked right outside our Marriott, Daytona turned cold and rainy, wife messed up and climbed on the back of the bike at 55 degrees, always said it has to be 70 to ride. Lunch with her family in St. Augustine, had a great time.

Sometimes a warehouse hobbies enforcer will come up on CL for a good price. 42" long, gas motor 40 - 45 mph, takes the chop real well.

Here's one that needs a little TLC and has an air cooled engine, broken drive cable, but easily made.......... probably down on the 30 MPH range.......... but can always upgrade the engine.
