Thanks, next episode will be more in the shop and hopefully less of me in front of the camera

I'd say I admire those Porsches, definitely out of my price range!

Episode 5 is coming up. The new transom is in, stringers glassed in. We are moving along. Sorry for the delay. Crazy busy lately with projects and life in general!!

    Quick shot of the stringers.

And Episode 5 is up, the transom, and stringers are in.In this episode we move things to the shop, where we look at the transom and stringer install. We talk about how the stringers were formed to fit perfectly to the hull, bonded in place, and we used 2408 fiberglass to glass everything in. The resin used is a proprietary resin Mark at Rage Powerboats likes to use. We also discuss the fuel tank plans and putting in the reinforcing tabs.

I think about a 50 or 60 gal tank. The original is a 70 gal I think??? New engine should be way more efficient so range should be fine.

Some Activators had 64 gallon tanks, some seemed to have 70. Too big either way.

A larger or close to original size fuel tank may help in future re-sale, Ask VNEMOUS with the 21 super.

More like its just nice if you wanna go on a long run at WOT. Keep in mind a 4 stk or Opti might get better gas milage than my 300x but at WOT they are all the same and drink 40 gals quickly. However I dont think I will ever have a problem with selling my super

I think 50 gallons is plenty, I'll be pretty light on the throttle. I'm getting too old for top speed runs.

I think that new Mercury four stroke V6, and the G2 are really efficient anyway.

Correct - mine is a 1990 model and the original tank was a 70 gallon - switching to a ~50 gal tank allowed me to make some useful storage space right under the dash. Smaller tank size has not been a limiting factor with the type of boating I do.
