I would love to have taken a look at the hoppy one, just to see, seems so strange.

And Yes, the boat is at Mark's shop. I do all the work and he drinks coffee and yells at me. lol.

    Old tank
Pictures like that remind me why I'm so glad to boat in fresh water. When I pulled the original tank out of my Progression (after almost 20 years) it had one little hole corroded in it. Man that thing's a mess!

Your tank is at the end of its useful life....bbbuuuttt your boat has been kept nice and dry so you should be the exception to the rule....if i had your boat i would wait until it becomes an issue and then fix it....no sense in tearing into an original boat for no reason...

I had done a similar project to what you are doing. As a young guy just starting out, Mark took me under his wing and completely restored my 21' Superboat with me. It was an awesome experience. He is a great mentor and great friend. And a great person. If theres one thing I learned during that project, its this: Just listen to Mark and youll have a great boat. He's the man.

Hoping to see some of the NY / CT members on the water this summer, if it ever comes.

Do you plan to Paint the boat or attempt to restore the faded gelcoat?

Hey everyone, we should be posting episode 2 Tuesday or Wednesday. We'll talk about some engines, a few details about the materials we are going to use. Paint will probably be in a later episode, but yes, it will be painted!

I hate talking about the weather but man this winter is dragging out.

I am very interested in the G2 as well. What steering system will you go with?

Front mount, probably UFlex or SeaStar Pro. Unless of course we go G2 HO.

The 22 Activator came with these cool back seats, 3 person bolster bench. We are going to do new interior but keep this design. I think it's cool.
