We will have an episode update this week. Sorry about the delay, been swamped. Narrowed down the choices. As soon as the engine is ordered, will order the jack plate and some other hardware.
The look of the G2 is growing on me. The new Mercs are so different.

Mines doing good, been out on it a lot, saw 62 mph at 5800 rpm, speed up and slip down. Running in the rough, 66 and 61-6200.

The Activator hull is a pretty modern looking design, I'd pick the SeaDek. Looks great. Can't imagine what it costs to have a template made, though.

The new fuel tank arrived. Might wait for more progress before another episode. More parts will be ordered soon.

Tank coating?/ Support plans? You might need a little more glass on the outboard ends of your angled penske blocks. That is where they would want to shear if the bottom flexes. Covering the edges of your 1708 tabs with some matt would make them a lot stronger also. Just a suggestion.... Very neat glass work.

Im very interested to see what he does also. tank coating, support, protection.
When i did mine in my 27 activator i researched, asked for feed back on pros and cons.
Coat tank with tar, rubber pads on side, weld support to tank bolt to stringers, dont foam tank wouldnt last long. I still foamed in tank because after all my research still found tanks breaking weld supports. One boat manufacture state foam is best method because coating they didnt know what effects coating would have on tank over time and with foam access hatch that is removed sometime to help with moisture keeps foam dry to prolong life of tank

Yank looks nice and well built.
I prefer a coated tank. And I don't like bolting the tank to the stringers. On my lake and bay hull I coated the tanks, foamed them in, then cut the foam flush with the top and put a layer of glass over the top.

Looking back at the original build, it had the roving tailed, and the stiffeners had more glass covering them. But, i'm sure the boat will be bullet proof and look perfect when done.
