u no, I started swimming in 3rd grade, there's a lot of quiet time in the water. we swam 1320's for warm up before practice ( that's a friekin mile ) and 1320's after practice. it requires a lot of mental solitude to work through. I can't even imagine the mindset to attempt something like this. maby a new gueniss book of records attempt, what ever, still a lot of quiet time in some murky damn water. fun out
most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

Was beside him for a while he went 2.5 miles in an hour and it was after 5 this evening. Very impressive he had a couple Kayak chase boats that gave up.

I can't believe he is swimming it. I run boats on the southern part of his journey and couldn't imagine swimming it

Paul just told me that he swam from Hontoon Island to Astor today and they are docked at his house overnight. I wouldn't even swim across the river in a lot of those areas, this guys got guts and determination like superman.

Just saw chase boat come back up the river wrong direction and the tracker ended in the middle of Lk George lot of lightning now so hope that's what stopped him not a lake monster . River levels are way down but there was enough flow during the flooding to erode some of the sand bars near astor. I t even killed a lot of grass in the Glen lots of sandy bottom good for hanging out but bad for the fish. Ryan send me some pics of the new boat cool.
