SEB's new 24 Cat for George D. under way

Just so there is no confusion on what this hull derived from, it is a 24 Skater copy. We purchased the 24 Skater copy molds from Black Wolf Racing. Per Black Wolf, they had permission from Pete at Skater to make copy molds. Either way, they are no longer in production and have been out of production per the time frame required to be exempt of the Splash Laws, so per the Splash Laws, it is legal to copy them. Just to nip that in the butt.

Black Wolf made a few changes from the original 24 Skater and I am sure we will make more if we continue to build them.

George D. and I have discussed this for a while and we decided if we got 4 guys together, we would build them. George got 4 guys and made this happen. So you will see 4 of these coming out of the mold this year. Most of these are going overseas, as George and his friends are from the Turks and Caicos Islands. You will see one here in the US, but it is going to be more towards winter.

George's 24 is all white and he will be doing the paint, rigging and interior on his end.

The bottom is now currently in the foam core stage and almost ready for the final layers of glass and structural work. Thanks Todd

Nice! 24 Skater was my favorite boat I’ve owned.

curious if there will be an option for a single 400R install and a small center pod to protect the midsection?

I really believe it will run over 100 mph being built with all composite material. I think F14 is running 95 plus with a 24 Skater, running a single running 300x, so I feel comfortable saying it should run over 100 with a 400R. That is not a potato chip built boat either. Thanks Todd

No sir I’m not huge fan of tunnel mounted engines when running rough water. Plus 600 hp is more fun than 400

The SEB 24 is still underway. New patterns and being the first build always takes a lot longer, but I am very pleased with the work my crew is doing. We should be pulling the hull out of the mold the end of the week.
