Cool to my new york brothers, a little help wuld be appreciated,,,

I have this desire to take my new grandbaby, who turns 2 tomorrow, to the zoo while she is still small enough for me to carry her around. my daughter ( who lives in Brooklyn ) tells me the central park zoo is kinda small and is mainly oriented towards water species and foul. she likes large African animals like Lions Elephants and such. the other option is the Bronx zoo,,, are there any better exibits there or do I need to take her to DC?

If you decide to go to the Bronx Zoo,do not go on a Wednesday. It free admission. Some of the people that go on that day should be in cages. I Wednesday with out knowing it was free admission, big mistake.

She is right in that the Central Park Zoo is really small.

The one in Santa Barbara on the left coast is the one to go to.

Or take the baby to Africa.

oky doky, I grew up in the DC community, the zoo's there are as good as it gets, limited funds and time. hoping Bronx zoo will make a memory, from the website it looks promising, no elephants but, hey, as Mick Jagger said, " you can't always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need." fun out
