ID:	402006Sorry it's sideways. Those black drops are solid. Does that always mean it needs replacement. Engine has misfires at all speeds, worse at 1k to 2k.Click image for larger version.

    Charging system failure can cause that, and loose batt terminals are a contributing factor too. Do your voltage regulators have a clear potting or black potting? Clear potted regs are a big problem. Get rid of them..

    I'll check the regulator, thanks. I'll test the stator resistance per the manual, but yeah, doesn't look too good. Ready to sell this sucker before putting money into it.
