About 3/4 of the way back through the photos is one of my boat in 1974, 16' Powercraft with a Super Strangler that I ran in APBA SV Class, super modified V bottom, any V bottom boat, any engine. These were the fastest V bottoms on the planet at the time.

A guy we used to race with had a Strangler V-4 with those factory carbs. We did drags on Sat the circle track on Sun with the same boats. He didn`t do very well coming out of the hole until he changed to the standard carb set up. Top end he was very fast with the original 8 barrel stuff and that's what they were made for.
