    Hmmm

Gearcase interchange All 2 liter, 2.4 liter, and 2.5 liter gearcases interchange. They won't interchange onto a 3 liter or the old 3.4 liter, both of which are unique to their size engine. (4)

HUH? There is no 150 3 liter ever. You need to read my first post again. Slowly If the 2003 225 is a 3 liter than no the 2.0 2.5 and 2.4 will not fit.

Your not annoying anyone. Just you know how it is texting and typing, sometime hard to make the question and answer clear. So is the 225 a 3 liter?
