300x mid vs 300 pm mid

what is the difference between a 300x and 300pm midsection. are they the same? what modifications do I have to make to the mid to drop on a 250xs power head.

Tuners are a tad different.not sure if opti strainer and poppit align, also not sure about how the map and air sensors are affected by alien cowl, if at all. I am bolting a 250xb onto my 300pm mid, but it's kinda the same animal as any 3l efi

The 300pm and 300x mids are identical for all intents and purposes.....as for mounting your 250xs powerhead on one your gonna need to change to the opti adapter plate or drill and tap the 300 adapter for the water strainer air fittings for the opti....as for the air coming in from the alien cowl it will make ZERO difference to the motor.....

The only other thing is would add is that I dont believe the 300x was ever available with anything other than the sold motor mount exhaust plate but you could run into a rubber mount exhaust plate in a 300PM.
