Custom 15' Wahoo "whaler copy"
15' Wahoo with bottom re-worked and running pad added by Doug Wright. The entire deck joint was glassed and filled, the seat back/bulkhead was added and everything in the boat was replaced. Rigging includes: Livorsi steering wheel, shifter, gauges, Garmin G.P.S., billet fire ext., all new wiring, hyd. steering, jackplate, stainless taco rubrail, and recessed cletes. The boat handles extremely well, runs flat and stable. This is a one off deal and being sold for a fraction of what was put in it. Price is $6500.00 for hull and rigging -no motor or trailer-I will sell the trailer for an additional $1500 as a package only.

If someone is able to correct the picture rotation, that would be great.Last edited by JPEROG; 04-08-2018 at 09:23 AM.

Joe, that's a really cool boat. How did it run with the 15" 115 opti?

It has seen a best of 60 and cruises great at 50. This is not a light boat so it tracks really well, stays straight, and runs level on the pad.

My 15’ whaler ran 55 with a 75 Yamaha, how much heavier is this boat? How big is the gas tank? Any other picture of the interior?

The fuel tank is 12 gallons and is built into the seat with an external side fill. I don't what it weighs but there is a lot of glass in this little boat compared to a production whaler. I have had a bunch of whalers "have 4 now" and know enough to be able to compare the two. My goal when I did everything to this boat was to make it a very easy to drive rig that my 11 year old would have fun running and be able to air up on the pad. I will get some interior pictures added to the post.
Pictures added.

Just sold a 15 Whaler Sport with a 60 4 stroke Mercury and galvanized trailer for $9K.
The hull weighed 950lbs. Great little boat that ran a max of 40 mph.

There was more money spent on the following then what I am asking:
Doug Wright adding the pad and working the bottom
Livorsi steering wheel
Livorsi shifter
Garmin GPS/Chart plotter
fiberglass/carbon fiber/epoxy/primer and paint
The boat, Randy Corson rigging, hyd. steering and helm, livorsi gauges, bezels, fire ext., pop up cleats, lights, rub rail, hull itself, new teak, new hyd. lines, new shift & throttle cables, duel blinker trim switch and billett hardware are all free.

How did you get it to run 55 with a stock 75? Was that GPS because with my 88 v4 omc I could barely scrape 54 on gps. One hell of a hole shot though!

that's impressive! low weight helped, I'm sure. I never ditched the 21"" aluminum on mine. should've tried a 20"" raker.

Any upholstery for the seats? How much for trailer? Do you have a motor for it? Cost to ship to Las Vegas?

It's a nicely built boat sir - your ability to use quality items shows well . It's just beautiful and performs . It's the use able platform that makes it so desirable. .
