If that's the hull I think it is, it was called the Senza up here in the states and was just over 16 feet long. I had a 1984 model with a 115 HP straight six Mercury outboard on it and the best I ever saw was 58 MPH.
Based on my experience, I'd look for / do a few things to it. First, check the last 4 feet of the hull for hook. Mine had a ton and it scrapes speed off pretty effectively. Second, reinforce the transom big time. I had mine done after I fractured it pretty badly. In fact we ended up building a set of knees for it and glassing them in. Remember, that's a chopper gun layup hull and it's not designed for nearly the kind of power you have on it. (I think mine was rated for a maximum of 125 HP.) When I sold mine after 3 years, the boat had stress cracks from bow to stern.
BTW, what kind of steering setup do you have? Anything less than hydraulic steering is going to make that thing a death trap.1992 Progression 22
