1996 Mariner 150HP 2.5L Cowling Insulation
I have a pair of 1996 150hp 2.5l Mariner fishing motors and the cowling insulation has disintegrated leaving a mess inside the cowling. Does anyone have any suggestions for material,
brand, thickness as a replacement for the original insulation. Thank you.

For my 1988 XR4 the cowling is a bit different but years ago I used what I think was Dynamat which worked pretty well. Thickness was probably around 1/2 inch.
