that 11.88 is from old guys bad memory reliving their youth bench racing. Way to many numbers matching restored cars running in the 13s. 426 hemi's , 427 chevells , LS6 Chevells are 13 second cars with many mis quoted memory's.

My z06 is an auto. Running Hoosier DR’s, I start in first after burn out box, then shift to second at 6500. Then tires are hot and shift to drive which shifts faster then paddles.
A good thing about leaving it stock is that NHRA lets pure stock run down to 10.00.
I really don’t want to ruin street car with a cage to go quicker than 11.50 if modded. Traction is tough enough stock, let alone if adding another 100 HP with pulley, headers and tune.

I ordered wheels this week. It was a search to find a size to fit car and tires i am going to use. I am not on the black wheel bandwagon that has run over the wheel market the past few years. i settled on weld rts 5 spoke polished wheels. i went with 18x10 for the rear because i wanted some sidewall to load. also more tire sizes available for drag radials. 20x7 up front because 18 will not fit over the big brake rotor and caliper on the front. i checked several sellers and found only black in stock. so i will be waiting about 5 weeks to get my shiny wheels built.

I hate the black wheel look also. Its like wearing black socks with shorts Looks ridiculous. I hate trends and trendy people that only do what others are doing because its the trend

While it's true the matte , black on black on black murdered out look has been way overplayed .. I do like the way they are taking one of the accent lines like charcoal and making the wheels match that . Some really talented paint and graphics people out there ....

I think i have voided my warranty. Installing ATI balancer. Will add 3psi of boost. Changing upper supercharger pulley to smaller 3.10 dia pulley. will bring total boost to 16psi. Wheels and sticky fat rear tire came in after only 3 1/2 months. Now if lisa can get it put back together tomorrow. I will be burning rubber with close to 850 RWHP.
