This is after level 2 kit.
After the injectors went in and the startup tune was flashed, the car was pulled onto the dyno for another session. Satisfied with the results, we hit the track to see the gains. Right off the trailer Mike cracked off a 9.81 at 143mph. Outstanding! Again, we are still using the factory intake, factory gears, and factory headers.

All these new cars with bolt Ons are stupid fast. The new mustangs are taking 900hp to the wheels with a box stock trans. It’s crazy the days of whoopin sports cars with a 12 second diesel pickup are over. Only way to beat them is 4x4 on the street and 1/8th mile cause once they get their **** together and the traction control and launch control quits limiting it they turn on.

it is not really raceable on stock tires. i tried mine on the back road the other day. with 8 speed automatic i put in manual 2nd. can only give it a 1/4 peddle to get it moving. you really cannot use more then half peddle until you get into 4th gear. onboard timer showed 12.80 at 116mph. most stock ones online seem to run low 11s on drag radials.

You need to qualify for the pure stock races. That's the number, check the clock at the end of the race. The olds went low 12s, blueprinted stock 72 W30 and glass tires. Both have invisible blowers and big wide modern radials lol.

That's about the same time and speed I got with mine on stock tires using the performance pages timers. In the 0 to 60, I could never even crack into the 4 second range.
I switched rear wheels and tires and got a best of 3.4 second 0 to 60 and 11.3 at 126 quarter mile on an old county back road.
On the street, I found it best to do like you did and start in 2nd gear. 1st gear would just blow the tires off even with the new wheel/tire combo. In 2nd I could foot brake it and roll into the throttle and be floored within a couple car lengths of roll out (most of the time, sometimes it would break traction and then the time would suck).Last edited by Rynobull; 03-11-2018 at 12:51 PM.
