new toy has 707hp
i have had built motors that made 750hp on the dyno. so i thought i knew what to expect when driving my new to me challenger hellcat. unlike a built up big cam motor. the hellcat has big power right off idle. Adrenalin rush at any cruising speed with the 8 speed auto trans. roll in the pedal easy at 50 any you have the option of lifting or ass end passing the front.

I was running open headers when I got pulled by the law. He said he heard me about a 1/4 mi away going thru the gears. Just pulled off to the side of the road and waited for me. Cool cop... Let me go with a seat belt violation. Let us know about your 1st cop encounter.. It won't be long....They know what that car is and what it can do...And red is their favorite color ya know...

Welcome to the Hellcat club! Here is mine, I love it! It can be a nice Friday night date driver or a menace to society! Any plans for mods?

Since Trump got in office the economy has really picked up. I exceed my Whopper bonus number every month. Big bonus money helps out in the toy box/garage. Who would have thought a 8th grade drop out could make it all the way to assistant manager in 5 short years flipping burgers. I wear the Crown with a smile.
Funny thing is the manager drives a Mustang GT. He made me take care of the trash cans all day today. I think it pissed him off that i got a faster car than he has.

Dave, if you haven't researched tires yet, I will do you a favor and tell you to get the Nitto NT555R drag radials. They will fit the stock 20" well okay, but if you can get a set of factory reproductions in a 10.5" width, they are even better.
They ride super nice, corner pretty well, and awesome traction. With the stock tires it was a smoke show at anything under 60mph. Now you will hook in 2nd gear and up on the street.
I have had the Mickey Thompson drag radials as well, and while they do offer some better straight line traction, you can feel them sway in the corners with their super soft sidewalls and if you get caught in the rain the MTs are scary. The Nittos do much better when I got caught in the rain.
