Are the frames sitting on the foam over the running surface?

Great looking as well as outstanding performance hulls.
After I finish my current project and learning all the in's and out's of the turbine powered boat, I am dreaming of a hull such as the DW and the total concept of building the boat around a single turbine and it's intricacies.

it looks like the bulkheads are sitting on top of the final laminate that is encapsulating the foam core and not on the foam core directly

it looks like the bulkheads are supported by the tunnel, tunnel sides and hull-sides as the main support areas and not the running surface, so this frame structure is good to go I think

Is the box in center of deck the hot tub? Seems to be a odd option for a boat.

It looks like plenty of room all around the tub. Maybe you could have stepped up from the two person tub to a 4 to 6 person. For what you are spending. Dont get tight with the wallet now.

Thanks for pics ! Two questions, what is the transom comprised of as it looks like Coosa , thought I read that DW uses only marine ply in transoms ? Next who is the lucky skinny Puerto Rican who gets to climb in and bond hull to deck ?

It may look like there is plenty of space when you look at the mold, but if you take into account the space needed for a couple of stripper poles, there is less space left than you think.

I don't want to have anyone deal with wood in a boat. Doug prefers okoume wood for vibration dampening but I prefer once and done....
