No crook gives a **** about the 1993 boat its too hard to move. Stored inside or out that boat is so far from the usual targets in south Florida it does not fit the bill.
everything on that boat was one of a kind and or purpose built. If the modded sporty, cowl, rare 15” X Mid , Powerhead pops up for sale someone will know. If they were smart they would steal any of the hundred verado or Yamaha lowers and motors make 10x the money like the guys they caught here drinking coffee on camera unbolting verados..
Brent has had it firgured out for years, he has answered endless stupid questions from me over the years. Hate to see this cause he’s always willing to help and that was one of the fastest Outboard tunnel pump gas boats in the world...

Big crime in all big cities but that little place just north of us is really the hub...Cops could care less about theft these days and with each county having incorporated areas makes it way worse when you stolen goods go to the next town over... because the cops don't seem to get along so ur f#*%ed. I did some of my own investigating when my stuff got stolen and seems they steal here and sell north and vise versa, not rocket science but like i said cops don't care unless ur the mayor.. If its not on its way to a buyer in the islands it may show up north if the moron didn't realize how rare the motor was. Dave

I work at the Port in Savannah. We have warehouses full of high end cards and boats going over seas primarily to Lagos,Serria Leonne, and to Australia.I often wonder how many could be stolen.

Was it still Brent's boat?
Stolen from his house?
If so, ck your home owners policy.
100 yrs ago I had a motor stolen off my boat on the side of three road after a break down.
It was not insured and I wrote it off.
Yrs later I bumped into my insurance agent and told him that story.
He told me ny home owners would have covered it!I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

It's hard to believe nobody in that neck of the woods recognizes that truck.
