Screaming Eagle Boats buys Spectre Powerboats

Today was a very special today for Karen, the SEB crew and myself. Last summer we purchased the 30’ and 36’ original Spectre boat molds. At that time the 32’ molds and the Spectre company name was not for sale. I told the owner of Spectre, if he ever wanted to sell, put me first on the list. The first of this year I received a call from the owner of Spectre. He told me he was ready to sell the company and the rest of the molds. After a month and a half later, lots of sleepless nights, we officially closed the deal today at 11 am. We are so excited to have the complete Spectre line up along with Talon and American Offshore Powerboats under one roof. This is where we wanted to go with the company, but did not expect it to happen so quickly. We will keep everyone posted as the year unfolds. Thank you, Todd Lamb

Did you get the 2 hulls that are sitting behind the building that they moved out of? 1 is outboard. other is inboard. If you have not met the new people that are in the building now. It would be worth your trip when you come and pick up the 32 molds. New company is working with some expensive looking carbon type materials. all seem to be race only builds in there now. from 17 to 35 ft hulls in there when i stopped in.

Yes, the two hulls are coming this way with the molds. Yes, I know the Wilson family. Great crew and yes they are top notch laminators. I am planning to go down here soon.

Wow congrats, screaming eagle is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the near future, also wanted to say I’ve spoke with you and Karen a few times on the phone, fantastic customer service
