3.0L 15" mid Section help!!!!!!!

Hello,
I have a 1999 3.0L Pro Max with a Mad EFI 15" mid section and the swivel bracket/swivel pin have developed quite a bit of slop. I was told I can put a 2.5 swivel bracket on it and it will be beefier and handle more abuse. I was also told that making this conversion will allow me to be able to trim the motor all the way in because of the 2" further setback than the 300 swivel bracket. Right now the front of my mid-section bottoms out on my trim pump. Since I have the 300 with the trim pump on the clamp outside of the boat will I need the 2.5 Offshore swivel bracket?

I hope I explained that in plain English HAHA!

Looking or guidance and any assistance. If anyone has done this 3.0L to 2.5L swivel bracket conversion or knows what part numbers I need it would be great to hear from them.

Get in touch with Todd D. and he can get you the 2.5 clamp parts needed or wait and have Chaz modify and shorten your current one. Both options get expensive but they are the only two options out there.
