advise new trolling motor for tritoon little help please
Dealer was no help. New 22 tritoon cruise and fish. Troller will be on front but fishing out the back so need remote control. Would like anchor control. Unit to be able to follow contour of bottom. Don"t need Bluetooth. Most likely 60" shaft with 80# thrust. Quick release. Probably a Minn Kota. Any other options you all think I might need? What model do ya think guys?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions guys.

I've been looking at them and looks like the anchor control, jog, and heading lock is on all the GPS models of MK and MG. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here but in order to track bottom you will need a compatible depth finder $700 and up and all the gateway parts at another $300 or so. So around a B.O.A.T (break out another thousand) to be able to follow a map.
Speed cost money. How fast you wanna go?
I have done so much with so little for so long, I can now do the impossible with nothing!

You need a compatible GPS/Graph and relating motor set up. So last year my $500 fathers day gift escalated to $2000.

LMAO Capt.Insane-o I figured around a 'boat' bare minimum to get the bells and whistles. If I decide to go with a remote there will not be any of that for me. Looks like the best deal out there right now is on a Xi5 with pin-point around $1300 for a 80#. Basic model gives me most of what I'm looking for.
