Taking a 150 or 200 block, cutting on it and sticking WH carbs on it has literally been done thousands of times. He thinks his port heights are ground breaking but they're not. He talked about how fast and powerful it was but had no base to compare it to. Almost anytime someone tried to offer advice they were basically greeted with a middle finger and were told they need to step out of the box, usually in a vulgarity filled rant.

You do realize he’s actually probably running the most powerful 2.5 on the planet, don’t you? And that’s Dave Bush with him. This is the help you’re $#!tting on. Take a deep breath, ignore the jabs, and try to hear the people helping you.

You also should realize this this thread is bigger in 2 days without your contributions than 2 years with them. Something to think about...

I’m refurbing my boat right now and understand and appreciate the work you’ve put in the hull, but hope you get back on track and actually get to use it without pushing rope every other time out.
