WH-15 .106 mains. 8 PSI fuel pressure stock needle and seats.
Goes full rich at wide open EGTs drop off from 1150 to 1030 at full open.

Probably end up with .096 or .098 mains just like Greg Moss told you to run BEFORE you melted the first one down!

That said, what happened to messing with the late model 3L carbs? I was actually kinda curious what you would do with them since everyone seems to give up on them with little to no tuning.

I love seeing the progress, as it’s fun messing with stuff but a lot of it has to do with the “it’s a monster” comments you make at times. Learning some huberous might help tone some of the neg down.

Heres an example of what some of the best around can accomplish with completely stock ported 200’s.

Im sure I’ll get run over by one of their set up boats this weekend they are some of the best around.

No but hurt just same old BS from the want to be and the has bin hating on what thy are not doing or think thy have or will do.
Tell your friend he needs to give it a try and see what happens or keep is gator trap shut.

Have the 3.0L carbs sitting on the bench . Will stat to play with them when I get a better handle on the WH15 carbs. Had 96 in them and it reved to 8000+ but set off the alarm on the EGT's that was set at 1200. Put a set of .104 in it and tried it but the regulator took a **** and one bank went to 850 on the EGT's for a little. pressure spiked and dumped a carb on me.
put a 140 GPH 15 PSI pump on it and a new by pass regulator.
Have a set of .1015 to try this weekend and a PILE of props.................
Taking my time don't want to lose it again.
Have lots of learning to do as far as what it feels like and what the EGT's tell me on what the tune is.
I have bin hearing to much from to many on what is
need to find out on my own.
Every one has a different opinion so who do you listen to???????
Done with all that will find out on my own...............................Will let you know when I get it......O AND I WILL you can bet on that.

I know Dave got my fly wheel of him. We have talked a few times he will be there hanging out.
He is a great person all around . never a bad word from him about any thing ......maybe you all need to hang with the right people so you are not so much of a hater and full of your self???????

That's lazy , careful when you get the others on it. You had two sizes made up , what cranking are you aiming for? Did you keep all chambers identical cc?
