2.4 200 reed question

Hey fellow scream and flyers! I just acquired a 2.4 200 and it has 5 pedal horizontal reeds with wh22 carbs. What could I expect if I swap to a 4 pedal cage and reed? Thanks for any info

The 4 petal cage can flow a little more than the 5,but breaks its metal leafs much more often...so if you go to the 4 petal cages you should go to composite reeds,also,by going to the 4 petal cage there's plenty of room to use the .125 thick crankcase stuffers we make,the 5 petals will only allow the .065 stuffer.We have the reeds and stuffers in stock,Chris

Thanks for Info Chris, I believe the rubber on the 4 pedal cages r cracking ,what would it cost to get cages worked, set your 4 pedal reeds,intake spacer and stuffer? Thanks

On a stock motor turning normal rpm's I doubt you will see any differance. Mike
