It’s definitely a little overkill for this motor, but the system does a really good job cutting down the pulse width to keep mixture right.

Unfortunately not, that was just oem front and rear rotors, pads, and sensors. It uses carbon ceramic brakes. High dollar mess

Your right, not 100% sure what these things are made of. Some kind of composite or something, or at least hope its some time of space age material with price of them. I just remembered from years back at mercedes school when one of the amg cars came out it had some type of ceramic rotors, so when i saw the price of these babies just figured thats what it was. The center hub is not magnetic, may just be aluminum. They are fairly light for the size of them.

Installed a MSD Atomic EFI system on a 302 in an 65 Mustang. Have to say I think I like this system better than the FAST. The ecu is located on the throttle body assembly and has a seperate driver module that controls the fuel pump via pulse width modulation depending on data from a fuel rail pressure sensor, eliminating the need for a fuel pressure regulator. The driver module also has outputs for two cooling fans programmable on/off temps using the the handheld controller that also plugs into a port located on the driver module. System real easy to install, and easy to set up. Seemed to also adjust to motor much more quickly. Has ability to have timing control when using msd ignition module, nitrous input to richen fuel mixture, works with both pulling and pushing blower/turbos.

Looks like a solid unit. Is the harness long enough to locate the ECU inside the car?

The ecu is actually the unit with the MSD logo on it on the side of the injection/ throttle body unit. But yes, the harness is long enough to put the power driver module inside vehicle. I chose to put it on the fender apron because the wiring for the wideband o2 goes to it and wires for fan(s) from it, that location had it centrally located without having to add extensions to either. I originally was thinking of putting it inside, but the o2 sensor harness limited me to where I could put it.

What kind of fuel mileage increase (if any) do you anticipate?

Really don’t know, both customers made the switch mainly for drivability improvements. Doubt either one even know what their fuel mileage is. I would think it would definitely be better under normal driving just because of it being able to keep the fuel mixture correct at different conditions better than the carb could. Not so sure about under hard running situations where its possible to lose mileage but pick a few ponies due to it being able to flow more air and fuel than the carb .
