Sorry,i meant i cut out the ski pole and ran the stearing cable, fuel line and harness through a rigging hose in it's place.I have only taken the boat out once just to find out the high speed on the stator was burnt.I just switched that out with a new unit from C.D.I,with a new rectifier abd switch box's.Weather permitting,i should have it out tomorrow.

As I understand it, that will be your best test of set back. The foot should be in the top of the crest behind the motor.
Speed cost money. How fast you wanna go?
I have done so much with so little for so long, I can now do the impossible with nothing!

Not yet, after a water pump change, plugs, carb rebuild, stator and rectifier,i finally got to take her out yesterday and run through some gallons.I spent that time getting to know her.I spent most of the time running between 40 and 60mph,which was a stretch in 40 deg temps with light rain 😂.I still have work to do,she is still not singing that high note.

I just got off the horn with C.D.I (at w.o.t i was hitting 16 volts so i backed off) they say that my lead acid battery is not really a lead acid batt and the c.c.a are to low.Bottom line,i just came back from picking up an Interstate 800 c.c.a.So i will have to wait a few days to get back to it.My water pressure fluctuates between 15 and 25 ish.It was my first time driving her and i had my hands and eyes all over.Prop is 25p

I still have eyelits on the transome. At 51 yrs old,i am done with being dragged behind a boat,as are my friends.I had no clue high speed skiing was even a thing, but after watching those crazy Aussies rip around at triple digits blows me away....They have deeply rooted issues !
