    Replacing Fuel Rail Hoses

I've got my fuel Rails off to get my Fuel/Air injectors cleaned after a compressor failure. Some hoses are coming out and some are not. What's the solution? Do I bust them out and replace? It seems replacement hoses might not be available. Can I bust them out, tap some threads in the rail and put a barbed fitting? Or should I clean the rail and hose as one unit the best I can and re install? Thanks.

Mine were tough to get out but they eventually came out. Sprayed a little wd-40 and let them sit a bit. I was surprised how much crap came out of those hoses after my compressor blew up.

I might just leave them alone and clean up the hoses and rail the best I can. Not my preferred method on my first journey with outboard maintenance but I'm learning. Thanks

I soaked my hoses and rails in diesel fuel overnight and blew it out with compressed air and soap/water mixture. Came out clean enough to eat off of.

You picked a helluva OB to learn on. Make sure you get the injectors cleaned by a reputable shop.

Got everything apart today. I know I'll be much happier putting this back together piece by piece. Found a bunch of crap in the air regulator, fuel regulator and tracker valve looked good. Soaking the rails overnight and sending out the air/fuel injectors to Fullers this week.

Not to be a downer but be prepared to have at least one bad air injector. My fuel rails weren’t even that bad and two air injectors tested bad. New ones are 450$ each but I got two used one off eBay for 75$ each and had them cleaned and tested.

Inboard ski boats are so much gentler on the wallet, just a V8 truck motor and a 1.1 transmission. This whole outboard scene is pricey.

Hahaha trust me I know. My compressor deal start to finish was about 1700$ doing it all myself aside from have all 12 injectors serviced
