Looking for opinions on which ECU and fuel curve to use on a modified drag cut 260, zero hour since new nic and rebuild, motor is an early 260, 5250 rods, merc top pinned pistons, angle cut reed plate, 1" spacer, bored out horn, CCM reeds, will be running 34cc heads for lake and 26cc for racing. Thanks!

My buddy and I run a Merc 11350 ecu with an A48 w/ 39lb reg for lake boating and an A63 w/ 56lb reg for drag racing on his boat.....you can swap the chip easily enough to do either but I've seen the A48 curve work very well for both if the boat is not a tater chip. The 849849 boxes would work great if you had one with several curves for both regulators and the ability to switch out/modify the curves with a laptop, but the 11350 boxes do the job just fine.
I have a boat or two.... that I never get to drive

a6 is not a ride on the lake map. I'd get an ACU for lake use and a stand alone ecu for racing.

My motor is basically the same without the angle cut spacer. Mine isn’t cut. I run 165-170# compression. I run an 39# acu system. I told tony what my motor was and he sent what he thought would work. I run an adjustable regulator set about 5more lbs than a standard regulator puts out. It’s a great setup.

I just did that very thing actually. Brought Todd my ACU Friday and picked it up Saturday. Heard Todd is one of the best when it comes to tuning and ACU/PCU. Been raining since yesterday but hope to do some testing this week.

I used to like the A48. When it went out is when Tony started putting the steam wheel with the ACU so decided to go that route.
