BTW, no concrete for the pool.

My bro-in-laws is what I am copying and is basically a plywood box w/a liner in it.

30 yrs later he has replaced the liner once and used the pool every day in season.

    Sorry, just caught this Michael.

I gave the whole hatch to a guy on the CM board.

Installed the VRO tanks and put 5 gls of gas in it to see what would work.
Remote fill on VRO’s worked great, 3 gl tanks will be killer.
I was getting 2 1/2 tanks of fuel per 1gl tank on the Sonic so should see 7 or 8 tanks on this.

Squeeze bulb, after 3 squeezes put fuel in filters and electric primers worked perfect.

    Making headway rigging.

Put the wiring harness to the port motor, hooked up fuel and oil, and hit the key and started instantly.

Forgot it was full of seafoam and instantly filled my shop with smoke which activated the fire alarm which earned a call from simply safe alarm company!

Great alarm company by the way if anybody shopping.

I’m punching out for the day today but plan to pull it out of the barn tomorrow and run both motors on the hose.

Shot a short video of the port motor just now but this site does not like the file type.

Can almost see light at the end of the tunnel.

    Three steps forward, two back.

Pulled it out of the shop and put some heat in the motors.
    Starboard motor started, idled perfect.

Port motor fought me every step of the way. Missed, popped, stalled, barely idled etc.
Spark test shows random firing and w/new ignition so I’m guessing I’ve got wires crossed under the power pack.
I love these motors but having 17 plugs and harnesses folded in half and smashed under the power pack, against the top of the block, insane.
Put it back in the barn.

Got graphics for the motors but not sold on it.
Hes working on some changes for me and is doing the Checkmate logos in black and white to match the motors.

Plumbed the steering and found a bleeder in one of my rams is stripped.
Good thing I have a spare.
    Ugh

Just to make mrichartz happy 😝, Pulled the trailer out from under the boat to weight so I can then weight it w/the boat to see where we’re at.

No sure if I can “not” put a pad on the bottom now 😉
