Yeah it’s the balsa cores fault for rotting.....

Im replacing the bow hatch there was virtually ZERO sealer around mounting flange.
And core around perimeter is still good.

Replaced corroded/broken sun lounge hatch latch (also w/zero sealer) right beside orig hole through balsa cored lounge lid.
Heres the plug I removed.

Remember too, Boat is a ‘86, or 33 freagin yrs old!
Ugh.

Got the new CR case so I now have a matching pair of ‘2000 225 counter rotators.

Ordered paint today for the motors and the faded silver stripes on the deck.

Putting lwp on them or no?
Have to get it weighted really want to know..
It's winter I can't do anything on it or use it it's all computer boating and waiting to see your progress...nothing else to do.
Just counting down the days till we move to AZ! To long
Luckily house is 20 minutes from lake pleasant!!
