Oh don't second guess the silver looks good!
    And different.
Are you going to put any Evinrude decals or anything?
Looks really good all silver clean, just a simple Evinrude decal

Dude! That silver looks bad-ass! Great choice.

ever thought about trying Mercury Bravo1 4 blade props? Lots of people are having great luck with them on boats they never would have thought

    Thanks Tommy.

I ran a set of Bravos on my Sonic and it didn’t like them.
Ive sense learned that are a 1/2 dozen versions of Bravo 1’s.

I almost bought a set of B Blades worked versions and still may.
I think they’re like the OMC SRXs.
    Decent stock but killer, worked.

Just got caught up on your thread, I was about a year behind!

Excellent work, your standoff bracket came out great. Things are looking great, I like your idea of rat rod for this summer, find/fix issues, make pretty next winter.

How many hours did you get on the surrogate family boat last year?

    Keep on keepin' on.

Oh, and Linda and crew did a great job on your pad!

    Not enough and thanks!

Got my e-bay steering mocked up today and am happy w/what I came up with.

Also dropped the fuel tank off today at the fab shop to get the orig fuel sender opening welded closed and a new one added to the middle of the tank so I get more accurate readings.

Tomorrow I fab up the e-bay trim tabs.

    Great idea!

I was just looking at how/where to run them.
Got mounts for the rigging tubes w/fuel line ports but still need to run hoses for the steering too.

Hell yea we put the relays on the motor and wire it to the +\- on the motor works great clean looking too. Switch wires can go through the rigging tube too. Sea star makes a reasonably priced through hull fittings but the nice ones are Rex Marine. Randy gets a good deal on them. Then u can run sea star lines to the bracket and have them come our braided stainless close to the rams.

That boat looks like it came from checkmate with that bracket on it.

I saw an old 25 Convinsor today coming back from Hilton Head SC.
It was buckskin with navy sides. It had a stern drive. I think it might have been a friends boat from the 80s. I remember it was a real sweet ride with a good sound.I was surprised to see it still around. It was well cared for.

Tabs are on for good, tank is in, floor is down, moved the fuel sender to middle of tank, notched the forward floor and port string for the new forward fill on tank, still mocking up steering but that part is close.

Mike, is also annoying as **** that when loading pics from my phone to this site, they are oriented correct on my phone but load sideways.
Only correction I know is to fire up my lap top, which means I need to get the pics from my phone to my lap, then load to this site.

    Ugh.

Yea last time I went to post some pics it was 5/6 attempts
Would get pic go to upload wait and wait then get I don't have permission.....kept getting logged out.. then figured ok I give up will use the computer so took the pics with my phone then went to use the computer... And the damn thing wouldn't start.. . So gave up on that till later and grabbed my tablet and got lucky and the pics uploaded right away and done in less than a minute..
But the 1/2 before was ridiculous..
