I doubt Dallas in November is as bleak and cold as Ohio, but more power to you both for boating this time of year

Going after the cabin.
Building a galley w/water, sink, adding shore power, lights etc to the cabin.
As many of you know, we stay on the boat for the weekend.
So it becomes the little things.
Brush your teeth before bed?
Again in the morning?
Coffee in the morning?
All of these things in the cabin?
For me, all of these things are mandatory.
We always make it work but sometimes it’s coffee on the dock at the shore power hook up, or back deck w/a ext cord from dock to there…., or coffee on back deck through boats inverter.
I am building it to do proper like.
I am happy to report that even at 62 for me, 65 for the Mrs, this is the **** right here.
Tow wherever you want.
Fast enough to be a screaming orgasom @ WFO.
Different no matter where you go.
A drivers boat, which is the only way for me.
This should be fun.Last edited by Instigator; 12-01-2021 at 08:00 PM.
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

Came out even better than I had hoped.
Need to make some more trim for around the galley but you get the idea.
I thought it would make the cabin look smaller but I think it did the opposite.
This is what a cuddy should look like.
Will install a 110v outlet in the galley for the coffee pot which now has a storage spot.
Also going to install shore power for heaters (spring/fall), blenders etc.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

You really hit the ball out of the park with it. Great pictures and a ton of flexibility. Now I do have to ask, what is the "granite" counter?

Formica laminate.
It’s almost directly under the main bow hatch so we can clip a fan on the opening to suck fumes of our stove that sits there for cooking.
Most marinas don’t allow grilling on the their docks.
It also butts up to the head of the vee birth so when in bed you can store your phone there, flashlight etc.
Had also been struggling w/getting enough trailer tongue weight after switch from the IO to OB’s.
Moved the boat 6” forward and got it to tow stable to 60 mph.
Moved it another 12” and got it to 80 safely.
I need that speed to tow long distances.

Looks great Gary! It will be interesting to see if you have to add weight to the nose.
Can’t wait for a ride some day!

Wow, great job, Gary!
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.

Thx guys!
Already working on it Shannon.
Been running it w/a full tank which the boat likes way better than empty and carry a 5 gl water jug (43 lbs) in the nose.
I enlarged the opening to the anchor locker to accept a 15 gl (129 lbs) tank that I have on order.
It will supply the sink in the galley but will remain full while underway.
So far, it’s wanted all I can give it.
The plan was to delete the Jack plates once dialed which would help but I run enough in shallow water so they’ll probably remain.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
