Wet sanded and buffed the transom then pulled it out in the sun to get some air for the first time in a while.

I just love the lines of this boat and the colors.

Tomorrow I’ll do the same to the bracket.

If the planets align, ill hang the bracket this weekend.

Has a pad w/a vee.

Im going lay up a flat 5 1/2” pc on my glass door/mold then bond it to the bottom.
Should be easy.

My goal w/it was to have it pass as an aluminum bracket when done.

Bracket is 20” so add that to hull length.

Been busting ass to finish the bracket and get it mounted, hoping that would help motivate me and it has.

Looking at it now thinking.....,I could skab it together and use it for a day boat and be on the water in a couple wks.
But, still tons to do.
As an example, I forgot about three through hull ports from the I/O that are no longer needed and need plugged.
Ugh.

A million more things like that too.
Not done recontouring deck for new hatches.

My motivation is back though.
Yay.

Told a friend who was asking, probably make it to the water as a rat rod this summer, then back apart this fall to be made pretty.

Is it actually 25' or 24' 1/2 like the outboard model?

Throw it together and run it for a day might find something to do different?

Actually how big is your collection I saw that wall at one point.. lol..
I'm looking at getting another spare set and/or something to run on the days when I'm afraid there's crap in the water.
Want to find a pair of 26 Chopper's too I have the 28 mazco
But was curious what you run on yours not do much size but make/model.

Its coming together nicely and Im really liking the silver motors. Was second guessing my choice while on the stands.

Michael, so far:
26" Rakers
26" Choppers
28" Hoss Hyper Drives
27" SRX's

I need a LH 28" Raker and a LH 27" Tempest to complete sets of them.

26 Choppers were the fastest on both Sonics but only 1 or 2 faster than Rakers that did everything else better.

Hung the motors last night and did a bit of celebrating.

Yea my old school 26 Spinelli Chopper's were 4-5 mph faster than stock.. killed me when I hit something

Will get another pair of 26s but need to find someone to do the work to them (if I do might just leave stock as spares?)
