Hate to pic nits, but, still think you need red stripes on the Merc, got a spare wrap with red stripes and how does that string steering work when you tilt the engine up, is there enough stretch in the springs???? Great job, is there enough weather left for a test ride or time for the deer hunter carharts?????? Looks bad ass, congrats!!

That Allison and the Stream Viper were a perfect match for the 150 merc XS motor. Your face is gonna hurt after that 1st ride from smiling so much...Great little boat.

1954bmw, I have had others mention the color....The blue stripes are correct for a 1973 1500. I have a donor with another wrap, maybe I'll dress it up like a 1350. Actually the cables stay pretty much tight for the trim part of motor travel, then loosen as it tilts. I was worried about it and pleased when I hit the button.
OK, I got down off the porch and ran with the big dogs....kinda sore now....think I'll just lay here in the flowerbed for a while...

Sorry, when you are CDO (really bad OCD has to be in alphabetical order) everything has to match and line up, I understand the blue stripes for the 1973 motor, just think the red stripes would match the boat better.

Only true way to fix it would be to put a OMC motor on ...

Doug, I have ways wanted a V4 Johnson, white with only a black and orange "Seahorse" (the triangle graphic, not the word) on the cowl.
