Ba a pop the top resto. Probly pour the transom, knees and stringer(s). He has a 90 horse tower of power. But I'm lobbying for V4 88 special ...
That is a real cool rig. When I was a young man skiing in Skiers alley, I had 2 friends I could mooch a ride with. One, a GT160 with a 100 Rude. The other, a Jetflite with a 135 Johnson. That was a hoot of a boat! I did a transom on my own Skiflite decades ago and it was the easiest transom I ever did. The only point glassed together was the well, the rest was only riveted. If all the Glastrons are built like that, it should be a cakewalk.
OK, I got down off the porch and ran with the big dogs....kinda sore now....think I'll just lay here in the flowerbed for a while...

Yup. My 153 was only tabbed around the splashwell too. Believe this Jetflite's the same hull. Hell everything's rotten and/or waterlogged, so movin it outa the way to have a look shouldn't be too hard ...

Yo Bernie. "Ski Alley" is purty much a misnomer these days. The traffic is ridiculous.

My fondest memory of Ski Alley, besides skiing. Is blowing off "fast" jet skis with my 'Betty Crocker' 153. Course that was a few years back, and jet skis are faster now. But I think that should count ...

A kicker mount on a ski boat LOL! only in SW Fla. I hope I don't find an orphaned one of those, or a CV16 anytime soon. My willpower and finances both suck.

It was the $#!T back in the day though. I took vacation with my daughter and grandkids last fall and stayed at The "Wannabe Inn" at the south end of Manasota. It was still fairly quiet on weekdays.

That poor boat....I can't help you with this one, mine had the transom removed from the OUTSIDE by a previous owner. I had been told it couldn't be fixed properly, so I kinda took it as a challenge. All I can tell you about separating the deck is that if any of the bow is tabbed, it would be a real challenge to get in there and cut it. Fat boys need not apply.
If it was mine, I would cut out the rear deck and splashwell and glass it back in. I have cut the rear deck only on two boats now, my Powercat and this Allison. I have seen it done well and badly. If you do it, just be prepared to reglass the point where it was cut, inside and out, at least 6 inches in all directions. The body work is a pain to get right, but I think it is the lesser of two evils, especially as I get older (and fatter). On my Powercat, there was no line visible and you could sit directly on the place I cut it, no cracking. I hope the Ally comes out as good.
