Thru hub will plane better 9 times outa ten... It essentially gives you a longer planing surface.. Just like using a bigger wider longer slalom ski... Easier to plane out

I'm experimenting with thru hubs for the extended housing lift because of the extra weight of the 3.2's over the 2.5's
I'm trying 5 blades for the better slip numbers.

My vented Bravo 32's stall for about 5 seconds and then snap loose, the rpms go 5000ish and the boat leaves hard.
The 5 blade long hubs I tried were not vented and the stall time was way longer, they didn't break loose till almost on a plane.
Venting them should cure that but they are borrowed props.
I was looking for some transom lift not the amount I got.

The only over hubs I own are an old set of 34 humpbacks, they break loose early, smoothly, and carry the boat well.
I have not tried any late model over hubs.

I have a pair of 32 4 blade thru hub herings that you are welcome to try. I have never run them "I bought them to use when the boat is over loaded (4 people on board)". I also have a set of 34 Dewalds that I will be using on my skater. Both sets are yours to try if you wish. The only thing that I ask is that if they are damaged then they are replaced. Dan has some 5 blade stuff that is working well on the DW28 and there is a set of top secret props that he is still waiting on.

Thank-you Joe, I appreciate the offer. I've been talking with Dan and I think my next test might be the Herrings he has.
32's are probably the right pitch as I do tend to run with a boatload of peeps and more fuel than SkinnyDale. :-)
