There must more current Cougars out there and if anyone has one for sale, please let us know.

Where will the Cougar 22 be built? I'm not familiar with Crazyfish Joe? Thanks Stoney

They will be built in the Chicago and Joe plans to post more details on the project when they start production in the new year. Check out this thread:

It might something for you to consider, that way you order the colours that want and rig it yourself.
    Thanks

While it wasn't under the tree, this 19 is pretty new to me. I bought it late August and have only had it out a few times.
Hopefully going to do some work on it over the winter, may even give it a new paint job as it looks like the red can't be refurbished.

Nice looking 19MTR. Have you tried wet sanding the red to see if you can bring it back and clear coat it? Just a thought. Keep us posted on your progress.
    Thanks

I would think being solid red it is already paint not gel, std was 3 color with options to add more gel colors.

Dave, I think you are right about it being painted. From the history I know of this 19 I think it came to Ontario about 4 years ago possibly from B.C. and one of the previous owners had a trucking company and his trucks were red. I know both Kelly Theaker and Frenchy83 owned this boat. I bought it from Frenchy83 and have talked with Kelly (who has been a big help).
Dave, would like to find a ski pylon and maybe a swim platform like you have on your 19.

Ski pylon is long gone on mine, never had swim platform. Dana, Rex, CP and others sell billet pylons and swim steps.

I am in the process of installing 14" x 28" Dana Billet step on mine with an Aqua-step ladder. I'll post some photos of it once it is complete.
    Thanks

I finished installing the swim step yesterday and here are 3 photos of it. The lighting isn't very good in the back of my garage, so the quality is not as good as it should be but you get the idea.
    Thanks

Looking for info on a 23 MTR. Mine is getting water in the starboard sponson and can't figure out where it's getting in. It looks like it's completely sealed and it only has one bilge pump in the center pod in a small cavity. There are plastic screw-on covers under the rear seat to get access the each cavity but no drain holes for them to drain back to the plugs. Does that sound like the way they are all built? Full floor across the rear except for the small bilge pump sump?

How about something slightly different, a 1992 Cougar Classic Ski Machine. I've been looking for this boat, my Dad's old boat, for a long time now...if anyone's seen it PLEASE let me know.

Should be a plug to let them drain, not sure on a 23.
