1984 baja sport 160 with merc tower of power 115

Have a 1984 baja sport 160 with new interior carpeting and floor work, 115 merc that came with the boat tested compression and it was great, the boats gel coat is the blue flake Metallic with silver flake I tested a spot with my polishing compounds and it came out like new I think the last person that owned it inheriated it from the original owner and did not take care of it that’s why it’s faded.the boat comes with a 17ft trailer with led lights and pole guides on it. Boat has power trim power tilt, want it gone out of the yard. Motor has been winterized and ready for storage, does not come with a cover, since I’ve owned it it’s has been covered with tarps and stored in a barn. Boat is located in NH no cracks in windshield that I can see anywhere and has swivel seats in it. Transom is extremely solid text me at 6032361535 with questions or give me a call$1500 obro trailer that comes with boat is under the red baja in the pictures

This is like a trip down Memory Lane for me. I bought an '80 brand new that was identical to the red boat. I can tell that one still has the original interior in it. Great boats, probably a little on the heavy side, but that made them feel like a much bigger boat in rough chop. And, it ran shockingly well once you got the steam up (I had a 1500 short shaft on it, surprised more than a couple would-be competitors with how fast it was ... jet boats were the usual foes back in that day). I traded it in for a new Viper in '89, but they gave me like $1500 for the boat alone, and there were times I'd wished I had just kept it stored somewhere instead of selling it. I saw someone on here a few years ago with a V6 on theirs, and I bet it would have handled it just fine. Should be pretty doggone sporty even with the 1150. Lots of room for a 16.

    They're super boats, GLWS!

Thanks and yeah my red one I have is all original with matching paperwork for the motor that came with the bait new in 84. There is no rot at all the gelcoat is in amazing condition, I put a kicker stereo system in it and put a 6” set back powerlift transom jack, the boat. Came from penslvat is where the original owner had it stored in his garage for 20 years but didn’t have the original trailer. I contacted baja and was able to get the original hull designs and the vin for the original trailer and found it which was under the blue one I’m selling so I bought it just to get the trailer. The motor is a 140vr crosflow. We had the whole motor completely gone through new power head new shaft, carborators, starter, and more. Has new oem style decals made. Me and my fiancé love it and will never get rid of it. Hope someone it’s the blue one and goes a good job fixing it up

I had an 85 with a 120 Evinrude. Kept for 12 years. Many great memories in that boat.
