    I have a 1981 Merc. 225 with the old clam shell cowling. Would like to change over to a one piece cowling. Could you advise. Thanks.

    Yes there nice if you take it on off a lot but... not for outside storage or if you run into a rain storm while boating.. they have there place but mostly in racing
