    1977 Charger...any info?

Picked up this gem for free with title to boat and trailer. Needs new transom as this one is soft, wet and wrecked. I have a 10" setback jack plate and an 89 Merc 150 Black Max ready to go.

Any info on this boat would be helpful. Click image for larger version.

That price puts you way ahead on a proper rebuild, great find. Rated for 175 , is that what is written? Maybe it's 275.

You're going to love how it rides. I have an 87, SK model like yours with a 200GT on I believe is 5" hydraulic Jack plate. The boat is so easy to drive, it drives itself. Mine only does 73 but I have a tired old motor but I've talked to someone else that has the same boat, motor and set up and his top speed is 82.

Mine only has a center stringer. It originally came with a balsam core.

Two different boats Sharpeye. Your SK is a Canadian boat, as far as I know it shares nothing with the pictured boat above other than the name.

I have done a few rotted out floors and transoms. Looking up balsam core and this might be non repairable? Floor is a bit soft so i wanna tear it all out and start fresh. Any links or advice is appreciated for sure.

The deck is a bit different from the Canadian version. I run a 92 Charger SK 18', with a 200 Rude. Great boat, very stable, my best top end is 83 GPS

Just finished the trailer rebuild. Now it's time to work on cutting out all the wet floor and transom.

It would be great to see some pics of your floors. I am rebuilding a charger right now as well.
