Just gotta keep truckin on. My mom had a severe stoke at 80. Lived but for 3 more years was in a private home (us 3 off spring did our best comfort her with the best care). But she lost all speech, in a chair, only movement right arm so could feed herself, and give us a hug. She still had facial movement as shed a tear. She was one tough cookie, my "rock", but after 3 years the good Lord said.."Enough. You are coming home with me"
Treat your friends and loved ones family right. No one gets out alive, but the mems are forever. No one said life would be easy, so use it up while ya can for the best. Wish the best you, as .."You're thoughts I do not know, but you're pain I have felt"

I had a string of TIAs in 2013, it is a pretty scary situation when it is happening for sure! I have not had any life changing lingering side effects that I know of, all of the CAT scans, MRIs etc came back showing "normal", what they call normal anyways
I had some short term memory issues for the first year or two and I still have a stutter that comes when I get angry (counter productive, I know) but otherwise nothing to speak of.
Glad to hear you are making progress Euro!
RacerVboat I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss, thoughts and prayers to you and yours.
