    Angry UPS strikes again!

Once again, UPS does its very best to destroy an inbound package. I realize that these things happen sometimes, but this particular incident is interesting. This piece is a steadicam for a camera, which is something I need occasionally when covering events. Aside from the fact that I needed this, check out that thick aluminum weight plate. What kind of force would it take to bend that? I don't think I could have accomplished that if I had run it over with a truck. The rest of the unit was also ruined. I had a feeling from the moment I saw the box.

I will obsolutely never use UPS if I’m paying shipping!
Not sure why but some drivers and workers seem to have a chip on their shoulder or are totally unhappy with their job so they take it out on the packages. Wait it will only get better with temp hires for the coming holidays......
Funny thing I have a great, helpful and friendly regular guy that delivers my area. He just shakes his head when something is damaged.

And they are raising their rates 5% this December. They certainly deserve it.

That is EXACTLY was I was fixing to post. I received a package once, sitting on my door step. I picked it up and almost everything fell out. Thanks to the UPS driver for keeping up with it, because amazingly everything was there. If it isn't packed well from the factory, you can bet Amazon will NOT step up and do it!

I complained to Amazon and it fell on deaf ears. I didn't even get a response. So I shop elsewhere for the most part. Their prices aren't that hard to beat either.

That really sucks. I really wonder what takes place to cause damage like that.

i do agree that Amazon’s packaging can really suck too. I’ve seen it good and bad from them. I suppose with all of the packages they have constantly going out of there, Amazon is getting lazy.
