I'm almost 100% sure they are 2.0s. I did not look up the serial number and also not going by what it says on the side of the cowling either. My memory says 135's were 2.0's in 1993 if they are in fact 1993's. Those are 1995 cowlings on there though and the 1995's were also 2.0's in 135hp (only carbureted too, no fuel injection). If these motors were Frankensteined your mid section or the part in your pic that has the serial number on it could be from a different motor too. If they are not Frankensteined they look to be 1995 2.0 135's. But I'm just a Yammie guy who barely remembers his own name sometimes.

Like Bullet said. However if you doubt us simply remove the head and measure the bore. 2.5L is 3 1/2" and 2.0L is 3 1/8th".

Open it up and have a look.
Maybe worth repairing.
Then you know what has been done.
You never know what was done when it was Reman.

I had a 1993 150 HP and it was a 2.0L. Those cowling decals didn't look like mine, not ever close. Like said, you may have a 1994

The 93 and 94 Mercury brochures list the 135 as a 2L. The 93 Brochure is better as it has one of Mark Weigle's Tuff n Uff Skater raceboats on the back cover.

That happens to me sometimes too...just close your other eye and look at it with your left foot off the ground and while sticking your tongue out and then they both look like 25's...
Only joking...but you are right. They do look different length mids...Frankensteins for sure!Last edited by Bullet 20cc; 10-20-2017 at 11:25 AM.

I think it’s a 94. In 95 they did away w clam shell covers but had similar decals witch was changed in 96. Comin sense says there 2 liters but if there frankinstined who knows. Any Merc mech can look from 10 ft n say weather it’s a 2.0 or a2.5
11757 btw lol
