So is Jay a supporting Vendor? Just read Todd Lamb's comments, and while I expect that this thread is posted with the best of intentions, and while I don't know Jay some comments here make him out to be a good guy, if it gives advertising to a company selling boats which is not a supporting vendor here I think it should not be done. I agree it is a fine line between "hey, I really like the new xyz330 that Joe Blow is building" and "hey, guys, Joe Blow is back in business and look at his production line" but this sure comes across to me as an add for the business.
    Per Rock:

"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."

    Per my hero Instigator:

"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."

So what’s your beef with Jay? Is Skater, Progression, Eliminator, Nordic, Mercury, etc and any other boat or motor manufacturer supporting vendors advertising on this site? I don’t see any of them in the side bar yet there are multiple threads dedicated to them.

There are members on here that are selling their manufactured products that are not vendors and that seems to be ok.

It’s refreshing to see threads about boats and motors with their new models. Prefer that any day over all the political bs being posted. I thought this was a performance boating site.

Greg can correct me if I’m mistaken with my observations.

just got off the fone with Jim. You can tell in his voice that he had some great news to tell me. His new Pilini 34 foot cat is in NJ ( Jim's hometown) and on its way to Hustler Powerboats on Long Island, NY, where the cat will be rigged, upholstered, and painted by the very capable hands at Hustler Powerboats.

The boat has been pre-rigged at the Pilini factory with gauges, controls, harnesses, shell seats, ...

and of course, Shaun Torrente's brackets.

Jim's power of choice is a pair of the very powerful Mercury Racing's 450R outboards

    here are some pics

the tunnel width has the modern-sized measurements to handle today's very powerful outboards.

The 450R outboards will be loaded with Mercury Racing's CNC props

I'll share the prop dimensions so we can measure % slippage....yummy!

Awesome looking performance boats for sure. Nice to see them shown on here. I appreciate the pics and info noli. Didn't appear as an advertisement to me just a hey, look at this cool boat with a very dedicated and involved builder.
