    etec 150 hp injector coeff numbers

    Can anyone help me decipher these injector numbers , particularly injector number 1
    coeff a , b , look off ? I know someone replaced this injector from another engine and am not sure if they had the dat file for the injector ? Is the injector addressable ? Thanks Davepnola

    That has to be downloaded from brp than loaded to emm

    Dealer and you have to have software that will talk to your emm I believe.

    You need to use EVdiagnostics and BossWeb to complete your injector programming.. Dealer only.

    I have the ev diagnostics .... tell me if I am wrong but looking at the coeff numbers can u decipher that person that installed the used injector did not write the programming to the emm for injector number 1 ?

    your injector sn and the one on the engine report don't match. also you cant download the injector co efficient from the net on that injector. It has to have a check sum number to be able to down load it from the net.

    Ok I see that ... explain how the injector is addressable ?
    Is there rom chip in each injector with a gate to only allow emm to address each specific injector ?

    The injectors are controlled by the emm. The coefficient tells the emm how the injector flows. That is why the emm has to be updated when an injector is replaced. All new injectors have a sn and a checksum number on the tags, those can be downloaded from dealerport. The old injectors came with a floppy disc with the coefficients on it.
