    Tire air pressure sensors

Anybody who's had one fail and doesn't want to replace them just so the batteries go dead again , I bought one of these for our Escape for $58 and works great

Cool idea, but driving 60+ or more MPH I would like. To know when my tires are loosing air. which may save from having a crash. My chevy is 10 years old and still working. Why not save the cost and disable the system or cover the warning with black tape?

It made the "info center" useless, saying pressure sensor malfunction, and anywhere from $60 to $150 for new sensors plus dismount/mount X's 4, I'll take the $58 hit
