The Friday run leaves @ what time ? Will 20ga get this little XR2 on a Bass Boat Down to town ? Then refuel.? I saw where some1 said 100mi round trip ?

Most leave 11-12 central time 20 gal will get u to Chattanooga easy but only 87 octane for sale there trip is 39-42 miles each way depending on who u ask

Excuse the uninformed questions. I would love to follow along on this run just to see the boats. I have a 20XD with a 250XS. What kind of speeds are run? I was wondering if I have an appropriate boat and could I keep up? Where exactly do you launch from? Any other relevant info would be appreciated.

Your rig is more than capable, there will be some that run harder than others, some stop along the way to bs, lots of scenery if it's your first time. Shellmound is primary launch, but there are others upriver towards Chattanooga. Lots of great people and boats to meet and see. Hope to see you there

If you were just going one way, up river, what would be a good ramp to take the boat out? Thinking about just doing the Jasper to Chatanooga and have a friend bring my trailer up river to meet me.

Kim, when you get off of I-24 at Exit 158 you turn the opposite way of going to the race site and basically follow the boat ramp signs

Gary, I forgot to tell you the other day, The river almost always has more debris than we are used to on our local lakes. Good question though.
Kim Cleckler, you can also launch at a public ramp near Hales Bar or the ramp by the country store on the other side of the Hwy 41 bridge from the track.
