Mercury 2.5 260 Rebuild Thread
Hey everyone,
Since restoring and rigging my ski race boat I purchased a couple of years ago the ol' 2.5 260 was in need of a tidy up (plus the odd upgrade), so I thought I'd share a few pics from the build so far.
Getting there slowly - can't wait to be back on the water ready for summer here in New Zealand!

Looks great, i guess you know your getting old when you think of a motor of this age as one of the "new ones" , fun out
most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

My 260 looks dingy. Won`t clean up. I think I just might paint it like this guy did. Silver looks good.
