Jay Pilini of Pilini Marine in Clearwater FL, has survived hurricane Irma with only minor damages to his building site, although not all of his employees and neighbors can say the same. Jay’s enterprise had only minor damages due to the preparation he took as his first priority to protect his customer’s property, preparation which included adding additional reinforcements to his building. “Many of our neighbors have sustained severe damage to their property”. Jay said. He is now concentrating on getting back to completing his multiple builds.

“During the storm our building was staffed by some of our employees in the event we had to do additional reinforcement and damage control.” Jay said. “…and we currently have no cable, internet, or phone service.”

With power being restored late yesterday, Jay has gone back to working on his builds. Jay’s message to his customers: “Due to Irma, we have lost some production time, but be assured (that) we will be working as hard as we can to catch up”.

Several of Jay’s employees are currently without power at their residences and have sustained much damage to their property. The remaining and available staff are on site and all inventory is safe and unharmed.
